Job summary

The QualiFind Group represents a Danish-based client producing world-class cell counting equipment and is seeking a Field Service Electronics Engineer to maintain and service a new automated instrument platform. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role combining mechanics and electronics to ensure high instrument uptime and superior service.

The position requires travel to customer sites in the United States (80% of time) and a strong foundation in mechatronics or electrical engineering.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field experience with electromechanical lab equipment or automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of sensors, actuators, firmware interaction, and basic networking.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair instruments at customer sites (biotech/pharma labs).
• Service electromechanical systems, including firmware updates and component replacement.
• Inspect setups to identify risks and reduce downtime; read system logfiles.
