This Field Service Electronics Engineer role is hands-on, customer-facing, and focused on maintaining uptime across the new instrument platform in biotech/pharma environments. You will travel domestically up to 80%, service electromechanical systems, and collaborate with R&D to feed field feedback into

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical engineering.
• 2+ years of field experience with electromechanical lab equipment or automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of sensors, actuators, firmware interaction, and basic networking.
• Good communication in English.

Aufgaben

• Perform recurrent annual maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair instruments at customer sites (biotech/pharma labs).
• Service electromechanical systems, including firmware updates and component replacement.
• Inspect instruments and setups to identify and mitigate downtime risks; read system logfiles.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product Management to provide field insights and contribute to product improvement.
• Act as an ambassador for the company, delivering high-level customer service and technical professionalism.
• Document all interventions in the CRM service system.
