Job summary

The Cavco Production Service Technician in Duncan, OK handles on-site repairs and maintenance of Cavco products, applying electronics knowledge, reading schematics, and ensuring warranty compliance. You will discuss projects with customers, verify installation quality, and perform tests to ensure reliability.

Required are a high school diploma with some college and 2–4 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues.
• Effective ability to communicate orally or in writing with co-management, internal and external customers.
• Demonstrated in-depth customer service history.

Responsibilities

• Installs and repairs Cavco products, and performs on-site post-installation repair, calibration, and maintenance as scheduled or required.
• Checks work orders and manuals, blueprints, and schematics to determine tasks, tools and parts needed for installation or repair.
• Discusses assignment with customer’s representative and inspects site to verify proper wiring and code compliance.
• Tests electrical components using testing instruments and replaces faulty components.
• Conducts routine preventative maintenance according to guidelines and schedules.
• Ensures Cavco products meet defined specifications.
• May train customers in operation of equipment.
• May repair faulty printed circuit boards.
• May be on-call and perform emergency repairs during off-business hours.
• Ability to travel.
