Qualifications

  • 3+ years of diesel repair experience in a heavy truck dealership.
  • Knowledge of multiple systems including A/C, brake, and emission.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on Diesel Engines/Heavy-Duty trucks.
  • Diagnose vehicle failures through disassembly and reassembly.

Job description

Field Service Diesel Technician Opportunity

Summary:

Field Diesel Technicians troubleshoot, repair, and diagnose routine maintenance and emergency services, providing repair recommendations to customers. They work with other technicians to ensure all scheduled work is performed safely and to customer satisfaction.

Job Duties:

  1. Perform quality repairs and maintenance on Diesel Engines/Heavy-Duty trucks as per manufacturer procedures.
  2. Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly.
  3. Diagnose vehicle failures by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts.
  4. Adhere to all safety standards.
  5. Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other vital parts.

Work Experience & Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of diesel repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck/fleet dealership or shop.
  2. Knowledge of multiple systems (A/C, brake, emission, air), diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
  3. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  4. Willing to work on call and irregular hours in all weather conditions.
