Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in industrial controls, automation, or field service.
• Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA programming (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, or similar).
• Familiarity with EPLAN or similar electrical schematic software.
• Familiarity with VFDs/drive systems and control panel wiring.
• Knowledge of industrial network protocols (EtherNet/IP, Profibus, or similar) a plus.
• Travel to client sites ~30–40% and strong troubleshooting/communication skills.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites for equipment commissioning, startup support, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs/drives, and control panels, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Support project engineering: panel design input, programming, and documentation.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics using EPLAN for system integration and troubleshooting.
• Set up and maintain industrial network communication between control devices (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profibus).
• Communicate directly with clients on-site regarding system status and repairs.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on project deliverables and timelines.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
