Job summary

S.E.A. Group is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to implement and troubleshoot electrical control systems, program PLC/HMI, and optimize manufacturing tools.

Role requires minimum 3 years of controls experience, a Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering, and proficiency with Rockwell and Siemens/Mitsubishi platforms. Travel up to 70% and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing equipment controls engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; or equivalent years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Supporting US customer manufacturing tool controls.
• Assisting with coordination of new equipment installation and implementation.
• Maintaining and updating manufacturing process tool electrical drawings, ensuring the tracking of equipment changes is documented, and drawings are kept current.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving equipment controls-related issues and recommending controls policy/standard changes, if possible, to prevent future issues with new manufacturing process tools.
• Interfacing with multiple departments within the organization and customer stakeholders to ensure controls policies/standards are understood and being adhered to.
• Maintaining effective communication levels and fostering team building.
• Ensuring adherence to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.
• Maintaining OSHA 10 – General Industry certification and participates in additional safety training as required.
