ProAutomated in Alpharetta, GA is hiring field service engineers who love travel and solving complex problems. You’ll join a team that works directly with customers across North America, performing on-site startup, testing, and installation support for automation systems.

We offer four weeks of paid training to build foundational skills in electrical, programming, and networking, plus a travel-friendly schedule, per diem, and performance-based raises.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel and be away from home on rotation.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and networking.
• Adaptability and grit in changing plans and solving challenges.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and within 50 miles of a major airport.
• Own a personal vehicle within 45 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear updates to customers and project teams to keep progress smooth.
• Navigate travel rotations on a 5-on/2-off or 14-on/7-off schedule; adapt to new locations.
