Job summary

EBARA Technologies is seeking a field service technician to service advanced fab tools in Minnesota. You will perform onsite and service-center support for PMs, repairs, installations, and start-ups, using manuals to diagnose root causes and ensure uptime.

The role requires hands-on electrical/mechanical skills, the ability to read schematics, and strong documentation. You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintain safety standards, and coordinate with customers and teams to restore

Qualifications

High school diploma or electronics program completion, or equivalent experience.
4-6 years related experience in semiconductor tooling or service environments.
Strong technical and customer-relations track record.

Responsibilities

Deliver onsite and service-center support across PMs, emergency repairs, consumable swaps, installations, and tool start-ups.
Interpret operation manuals to identify root causes of failures and document findings.
Capture detailed records of maintenance, downtime, issues, and hours; produce customer reports.
Execute preventive maintenance independently with minimal oversight.
Order parts, alert when replacements are needed, and verify system recovery.
Systematically troubleshoot mechanical, hardware, software, and system faults using checklists.
Communicate status and timelines to customers; escalate complex issues as needed.
Uphold safety policies and maintain a clean workspace aligned with standards.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.
