Job summary

Interface Systems is seeking an experienced Security Alarm Technician to diagnose and resolve application issues while installing and servicing fire, access control, video surveillance and wireless systems. You will work in the field, install cabling, terminate networks, and ensure safety standards are followed.

Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years in the electronic security industry, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of field technician experience in electronic security.
• Proficient reading and interpretation of technical documents and drawings.
• Able to pass state and federal background checks to become a registered security installer.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain intrusion, fire, video surveillance, network and VoIP systems.
• Work in the field using efficient methods to resolve service issues.
• Train customers on Interface provided systems.
• Maintain inventory and complete documentation according to policy.
• Install and terminate network and security cabling; firestop penetrations.
• Travel as needed and operate safety equipment per OSHA guidelines.
