Job summary

Interface Systems in Texas is seeking an experienced Security Alarm Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot intrusion, fire, video surveillance, and access control systems across field sites. You will diagnose issues, install cabling, and coordinate with customers and vendors to ensure solutions meet requirements.

This full-time role involves field work, on-site installations, and ongoing safety compliance; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• NICET certification is a plus.
• Verifiable field experience in electronic security.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Must pass state/federal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain Intrusion, Fire, Video Surveillance, Network and VoIP systems.
• Work in the field with efficient methods to solve service issues.
• Train customers on Interface provided systems.
• Maintain inventory levels with physical counts and documentation.
• Install and terminate network and security cabling.
