Interface Systems is seeking a Security Alarm Technician in Longview, TX. You will diagnose and repair security and video systems, including intrusion, fire, and access control, while wiring and testing networks in field environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• NICET certification a plus.
• Verifiable field experience in electronic security.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Must pass applicable background checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain intrusion, fire, video surveillance, network and VoIP systems.
• Work in the field using efficient methods to resolve service issues.
• Train customers on Interface provided systems.
• Maintain inventory levels with physical counts.
• Verify and submit documentation for inventoried items.
• Install and terminate network and security cabling.
• Firestop cable penetrations as required.
• Follow OSHA health and safety policies.
• Interface with customers and vendors on projects.
• Hands-on field interaction at the site level.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and tools.
• Full-time role with possible rotating on-call duties.
