Fairbanks Scales Inc. is seeking a Scale Technician to install, calibrate, and repair a variety of scales and weighing systems at customer sites. You will ensure accuracy and reliability of equipment, working closely with customers and colleagues.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years in maintenance or related fields, and the ability to obtain a Class B CDL. A safety-first mindset is essential, with flexible hours and potential after-hours work to support critical operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification a plus.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• 1–2 years of maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or related field experience preferred.
• Clean driving record; ability to obtain and maintain a Class B CDL.
• Willingness to work after hours and travel to sites as needed.
• Safety-minded approach and ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, service, and repair scales and weighing systems.
• Document calibration and repair actions with checklists and forms.
• Provide excellent service while interacting with customers and teammates.
