Job summary

Fairbanks Scales Inc. is seeking a Scale Technician to install, calibrate, and repair a wide range of scales and weighing systems. You will ensure instrument accuracy, document service actions, and support customers in diverse environments.

The role requires mechanical/electrical aptitude, a valid CDL, and flexibility for after-hours work. Training and growth opportunities are offered as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification a plus.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• 1–2 years in maintenance, mechanical, industrial, electrical, or similar field preferred.
• Good problem solving and attention to detail.
• Willing to learn and work with teammates and customers safely.
• Clean driving record; ability to obtain Class B CDL.
• Willingness to work beyond standard hours and occasional weekends.
• Safety mindset and proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, service, and repair scales and weighing systems.
• Document calibration and repair actions using checklists and forms.
• Provide excellent customer service while collaborating with teammates.
