Job summary

Fairbanks Scales is hiring a Scale Technician responsible for installing, calibrating, and repairing various scales and weighing systems. You will document actions and keep customers informed while delivering reliable service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, mechanical/electrical aptitude, 1–2 years in related maintenance fields, and a willingness to work overtime and maintain a Class B CDL. Safety and teamwork are emphasized across industries served.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or 2-year degree is a plus.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• 1–2 years in maintenance, mechanical, industrial or electrical work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work overtime and hold a Class B CDL.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, service, and repair scales and weighing systems.
• Document calibration and repair actions with inspection forms.
• Provide excellent service while communicating with customers and teammates.
