Job summary

Fairbanks Scales Inc. seeks a dedicated Scale Technician to install, calibrate, and repair a range of scales and weighing systems. You will ensure accuracy and reliability for customers, documenting actions and maintaining high service levels.

The role demands mechanical/electrical aptitude, a high school diploma, and a valid Class B CDL. Occasional after-hours work and strong customer interaction are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification is a plus.
• 1–2 years in maintenance, mechanical, industrial or electrical field desirable.
• Clean driving record; ability to obtain and maintain Class B CDL.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and repair various scales and weighing systems.
• Document calibration and repair actions using inspection forms.
• Provide excellent service while working with customers and teammates.
