Meier Agency in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking a Sales Trainer to take on an in-field leadership role while building your own book of business. You will continue to go on sales calls and train new hires, driving performance across the sales force.

You will develop practical training programs, lead sessions, mentor reps, and collaborate with Sales Managers to address training needs. A license in health/life is encouraged, with licensing reimbursement offered.

Qualifications

• Experience using sales-related software (CRM).
• Willingness to learn about the insurance industry and obtain license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be a good communicator able to analyze complex ideas like insurance programs.
• Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license.
• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional work experience (outside sales preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build and Manage Your Business: Develop and maintain a portfolio of clients through cold calling to engage with decision-makers.
• Develop and Implement Training Programs: Create practical sales training tailored for teams and individuals.
• Conduct Training Sessions: Lead engaging sessions to motivate recruits and seasoned pros.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers: Assess training needs and develop strategies.
• Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Measure success via feedback and performance metrics.
• Provide Ongoing Coaching and Support: Offer personalized coaching to new representatives.
• Mentor and Coach New Hires: Guide new sales reps in navigating roles.
