Meier Agency in Kentucky is seeking a Sales Trainer to lead in-field sales efforts. You will build your own book of business, go on sales calls, and train new hires while progressing toward a leadership role.

You will develop and implement training programs, collaborate with sales managers, measure training effectiveness, and provide ongoing coaching. The role emphasizes communication, relationships, and growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed Health & Life producer or willing to obtain license (licensing reimbursement offered).
• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of professional (post-high school) work experience. Candidates within 6 months or less of degree completion will be considered, as will candidates with less than 4 years of professional work experience who have relevant or specialized outside sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage your own business by developing a portfolio of clients through active prospecting.
• Develop and implement targeted sales training programs for different teams and individuals.
• Lead engaging training sessions to motivate new recruits and seasoned pros.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers to assess training needs and develop effective strategies.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, metrics, and performance assessments.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to new sales representatives.
• Mentor and coach new hires to navigate their roles and develop skills.
