Meier Agency is seeking a Sales Trainer to lead in-field training while building a personal book of business in a fast-growing insurance sales environment. You will empower teams with hands-on programs, focus on coaching, and progress toward leadership while remaining active in the field.

This full-time, in-person role emphasizes collaboration with Sales Managers, performance metrics, and ongoing development with competitive compensation in the upper-mid range.

Qualifications

• Experience using sales-related software (CRM) is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn about the insurance industry and obtain your license, insurance programs, and regulatory requirements.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be a good communicator and able to analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; customer service experience is beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years professional work experience; licensing considerations apply.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage your own portfolio of clients via cold calling and meetings.
• Develop and implement practical sales training programs for different teams.
• Lead engaging training sessions for new hires and seasoned reps.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers to identify training needs and strategies.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and metrics; adjust as needed.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to new sales representatives.
• Mentor and coach new hires to help them grow.
