Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Outside Sales Representative - Converging Technologies to develop new prospects and manage assigned accounts in a Dallas, TX office environment. You will focus on face-to-face selling and increasing sales and margin across Wesco's product and service offerings.

You will engage with technical, operations, supply chain and executive leadership, develop bids, deliver proposals and product demonstrations, and travel as required to meet clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Outside sales experience required; travel 50-75%.
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and suggest products and solutions.
• Execute account plans and drive billing margins.
• Prospect new customers, including cold calling.
• Engage with customers at multiple levels and manage relationships.
• Provide quotations and coordinate with sales support.
