Job summary

Tague Lumber is seeking an enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative to build relationships and deliver outstanding customer service. You will work with existing customers while actively developing new business opportunities, serving as a key contact and trusted partner for growth and loyalty.

Responsibilities include collaborating with inside sales to close deals, quoting construction projects, reading blueprints, and traveling to job sites.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to stay organized and effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass drug screening, physical, and background check.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.

Responsibilities

• Work with inside sales to close sales while providing excellent customer service.
• Build strong vendor relationships.
• Quote and bid construction projects; follow up on quotes to close sales.
• Read blueprints and travel to job sites.
• Continuously communicate with customers, suppliers and vendors to ensure satisfaction.
• Comply with safety policies and maintain professional conduct with customers and coworkers.
