• Quote and bid construction projects.
• Follow up on quotes with emphasis on closing the sale.
• Travel to job sites.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers and vendors to ensure satisfaction with products and services.
• Comply with safety policies, procedures, rules and guidelines.
• Maintain professional, courteous, respectful and ethical conduct with customers and coworkers.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work together with your inside sales team to close sales while providing excellent customer service


• Build strong vendor relationships


• Become familiar with Tague Lumber Inc.’s Product mix and computer system, procedures and sales philosophy


• Quote and bid construction projects


• Follow up on all quotes with an emphasis on closing the sale


• Travel to job sites


• Continuously communicate with customers, suppliers and vendors to ensure that they are satisfied with the quality of products and services


• Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, rules and guidelines


• Maintain positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a professional, courteous, respectful and ethical manner with customers, clients, co‑workers and supervisors
