Job summary

Patriot Disposal / Apple Valley Waste in Mount Airy, MD is seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to grow our commercial waste management portfolio. You will prospect, present customized solutions, and manage ongoing client relationships in a field-based role.

You will engage customers, close opportunities, and partner with operations to ensure service excellence. A proactive, self-starting attitude and CRM savvy are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in outside or inside roles is valued; training available.
• Strong verbal and written communication with negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships over time.
• Ability to work independently in the field and hit sales targets.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office for data tracking.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect new leads and generate field sales in the territory.
• Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities with tailored solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients and resolve service issues.
• Visit client locations for assessments and to tailor waste management services.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and forecast sales to the manager.
• Collaborate with operations and customer service to exceed client expectations.
