Job summary

Spectrum is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect customers with high-speed data and telecommunication services. The role is field-based, requiring up to 90% outdoor work, with base pay and incentives potentially pushing total compensation over $100,000 annually.

Responsibilities include acquiring new residential customers, conducting needs analyses, presenting proposals, and achieving sales targets across Spectrum services. Travel and evenings/weekends are required as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years sales or relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services, with an emphasis on data networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and introducing Spectrum’s offerings.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to tailor product recommendations for each prospective customer.
• Present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and highlight Spectrum’s solutions.
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately, including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to support team goals.
• Achieve monthly sales targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline phone and video services.
• Monitor competitors’ activities within your territory and report to your manager.
