Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a field-based sales representative for Surgical Technologies to promote products, run evaluations, and support procedures across the assigned territory. You will own the territory, grow existing accounts, and pursue new opportunities while delivering exceptional clinical and economic value to customers.

You will partner with the Regional Manager, build strong customer relationships, and travel as needed to physician offices, hospitals, and facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years of quota-carrying outside sales experience in medical device, healthcare, or consultative sales environments.
• Bachelor’s degree and experience in a customer-facing, leadership, military, professional athletics, or another high-performance environment with interest in a sales career.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in outside sales, business-to-business sales, or territory-based selling with a history of achieving performance goals.
• Ability to provide in-person support during product evaluations and procedures in clinical environments.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds in a clinical environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory including but not limited to customer sites, healthcare facilities, and business meetings.

Responsibilities

• Drive territory performance by promoting and selling Surgical Technologies products while meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
• Conduct product evaluations and demonstrations in clinical and procedural environments.
• Support surgical procedures by providing on-site product expertise, guidance, and troubleshooting.
• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, physicians, nurses, healthcare administrators, and purchasing teams.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts within the assigned territory.
• Educate customers on product features, clinical applications, and economic value through in-services and training programs.
• Track sales activity, customer interactions, and territory performance using approved business tools and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to develop territory plans, prioritize opportunities, and execute growth strategies.
