Qualifications

• Sales experience is helpful but not required.
• Backgrounds from sales, fundraising, community outreach, recruiting, education, military leadership, business ownership, and other customer-facing fields welcome.
• Drive, coachability, resilience, and work ethic valued over industry-specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and engage small business owners in your local area.
• Build rapport through face-to-face interactions.
• Present NFIB's advocacy and membership benefits.
• Identify business needs and recommend solutions.
• Overcome objections and enroll new members.
• Achieve sales goals through prospecting, lead generation and closing activity.
• Represent NFIB as a trusted advocate for small businesses.
