Job summary

BrandSafway in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the commercial market. The role focuses on prospecting bid opportunities, developing client relationships, and using Salesforce to manage leads and quotes.

You will visit job sites, assemble quotes, coordinate with contracts and project controls, and help expand BrandSafway’s access product offerings across the region. A background in scaffold sales and strong Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in scaffold and work access sales, ideally with labor contracts.
• Experience cost estimating scaffold and work access projects.
• Experience with Salesforce in a construction setting.
• Construction industry background.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of prospecting for bid opportunities in the sales territory.
• Develop relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, developers, and government agencies to create bid opportunities.
• Use Salesforce to identify and document bid opportunities and review leads from Construct Connect.
• Communicate how our products meet customer needs and foresee future needs.
• Visit job sites to gather information for price quotes.
• Assemble equipment & material lists, estimate man hours, and determine freight for price quotes in SafQuote.
• Coordinate with contracts and project controls teams to ensure timely billing and change orders.
• Be on site at new jobs to provide direction to construction crews.
• Prequalify with customers to get BrandSafway on bidder lists.
• Assess bid opportunities for upsell across product range.
