Job summary

Burwell Material Handling, LLC is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive equipment sales and build long-term customer relationships across a defined territory. You’ll manage accounts with autonomy, supported by a fast-moving team, and have a real chance to impact growth as we expand.

Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years in outside sales in the material handling field, knowledge of lift trucks and related equipment, and a proven ability to prospect and close deals.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the material handling or equipment industry.
• Knowledge of lift trucks, aerial equipment, racking, dock and door equipment.
• Self-motivated with a track record of prospecting and closing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships, building a strong sales pipeline within the assigned territory
• Implement strategic plans to identify new opportunities and increase overall sales and profitability
• Conduct detailed customer needs analyses to create tailored proposals and solutions
• Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions
• Maintain working knowledge of used equipment values and support trade-in evaluations
• Assist customers with financing options for new, used, and rental equipment
• Attend training sessions and seminars to continuously improve sales effectiveness
