Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Order processing, and Contact Management systems.
• Travel is primarily local with some out-of-area travel expected.

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for customers.
• Telephones prospects to identify contacts and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
• Compiles lists of prospective customers from various sources.
• Handles marketing logistics, quotes, and prepares sales contracts.
• Travels within the assigned territory to call on customers or discuss by phone.
• Prepares reports of business transactions and tracks invoices/expenses against budget.
• Investigates and resolves delivery problems with customers.
• Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
• Coordinates customer training.
