Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc seeks an experienced Sales Professional, Restaurant Manager, Culinary Manager or Chef for outside sales to promote Sysco products and build relationships with new and existing accounts. The role may require non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.

You will develop new business, penetrate accounts, and coordinate with customers to meet sales goals while learning market trends and product innovations. A strong field presence is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 3 years in Restaurant Management or B2B/outside sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance as required by Sysco.
• Willingness to relocate to the territory; able to work non-traditional hours.
• Bi-Lingual and restaurant management/chef experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve growth within the assigned territory.
• Qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet those needs.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products based on business needs.
• Drive personal vehicle to accounts and events; manage deliveries per routing schedule.
• Communicate and collect accounts receivable with credit; participate in sales meetings.
• Engage in ongoing training and support training of new employees when requested.
