Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote products and services and build relationships with new and existing accounts in the assigned territory.

The role requires flexibility for non-traditional hours and travel to customer locations, conventions, and company events. You will drive sales growth, manage receivables with credit teams, and participate in training and district meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience including Sysco Sales Internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate accounts to achieve profitable growth.
• Qualify prospects and align solutions to customer needs.
• Research customer needs and recommend products and services accordingly.
• Manage deliveries to route schedules and resolve order issues.
• Participate in sales and district meetings and ongoing training.
• Maintain sales records and prepare quotes and reports.
