United Rentals is looking for an Outside Sales Rep for the Fluid Solutions Division. The ideal candidate will use their sales skills to rent and sell specialty engineered equipment, such as hydraulic pumps.

This role involves maximizing revenue in a defined territory and developing strong relationships with customers. The position offers a competitive base salary of $70,000-$110,000, plus monthly commissions based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Three years of sales experience is essential.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills are a must.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities are needed.
• Knowledge of construction or related equipment is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maximize revenue from facilities and construction sites in a designated territory.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers.
• Prospect and qualify new accounts from dormant or non-customer accounts.
• Collaborate with specialty division representatives for cross-selling.
• Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
• Present company products and services to clients.
• Utilize Sales Force.com and CRM Tools for developing opportunities.
• Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product development.
