Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to sell products and services to current and new clientele, building relationships and identifying prospects. The role focuses on expanding the customer base and maximizing territory results.

The position offers a salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 plus commission, enhancing earnings through performance. A bachelor’s degree or ≥5 years of related experience is preferred, with travel required and a comprehensive benefits package

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers to identify needs and suggests products/services.
• Demonstrates functions and utility of products to customers.
• Maintains customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
• Maintains communications with existing and previous customers about new products and enhancements.
• Maintains detailed sales activity reports including calls, orders, and issues.
• Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
