Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Sales Representative to grow our business through construction and/or services sales. You will acquire leads, manage the full sales cycle from bid to contract, and build lasting relationships with customers across building types.

The role requires 2 years in business development or Fire Life Safety sales, plus strong English communication and Microsoft Office skills. Occasional travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read, write and communicate in English with customers and team members.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills are essential.
• Experience in business development or Fire Life Safety sales is preferred.
• 2 years operating a computer and using Microsoft Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Acquire sales leads for new work and sell Summit's services.
• Lead the sales process from initial contact to contract/Notice to Proceed.
• Generate new proposals, follow up on active proposals, and close sales.
• Maintain relationships with customers and communicate status to Management.
• Support project managers, design, and accounting as needed.
