Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth through new business in construction and services sales, with a focus on comprehensive fire protection systems. The role includes generating leads, crafting proposals, and managing client relationships from initial contact to contract.

Based in Albuquerque, NM, the position requires strong English communication, a self-starter mindset, and the ability to travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's in Business or related preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquire sales leads for new work including installation, service and support of fire protection systems.
• Provide outside and inside sales.
• Solicit building and construction projects: new construction, renovations, additions, retrofits.
• Lead the sales process from initial contact to contract/Notice to Proceed; follow up on proposals and close sales.
• Generate new relationships and foster existing relationships with customers for ongoing sales.
• Communicate status of active proposals to Management.
• Attend internal and external meetings coordinating with customers and stakeholders.
• Represent Summit Fire & Security as a professional, quality-focused company.
• Assist Project Managers and Design Department with schedules and coordination.
• Assist Accounting with job setup, profitability monitoring, and billing.
