Job summary

Intertek is hiring a Sales Representative for the Boxborough, MA Electrical team. The role focuses on selling services across assigned verticals and territories, with significant client-facing time and travel.

Base salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 plus monthly incentive eligibility based on sales goals. Benefits include PTO, holidays, parental leave, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) matching, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel 50% of the time with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Sell Intertek’s services within assigned verticals, accounts, and territories through client research, prospecting, and networking.
• Work with Sales Manager to define and develop territory plans to increase sales.
• Spend at least 50% of time outside the office visiting clients, attending trade shows, and giving client presentations.
• Write and follow up on proposals, specify standards and pricing.
• Provide outstanding customer service and meet activity targets, log activity into iConnect.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts as required.
