Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Sales Representative in Menlo Park, CA to drive direct sales within an assigned territory, engaging clients face-to-face, and representing Intertek's ATIC services. The role requires heavy travel, in-office presence, and a self-driven, entrepreneurial approach to grow the business.

The position offers a base salary with monthly incentive eligibility tied to sales goals, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Home lab proximity and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year successful Outside Sales experience
• Superior interpersonal and customer service skills
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license and reliable driving record
• Close geographical proximity to Intertek Local Lab – in-office position
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Experience with writing quotes within CRM and processing documents
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Sell Intertek’s ATIC services within assigned vertical, account and territory through client research, prospecting and networking
• Meet with customers face to face via client presentations and trade shows
• Meet order and revenue quotas monthly
• Write and follow up on proposals, specify standards and pricing; follow through on sales transactions
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Meet KPI targets and log activity in CRM (iConnect)
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts
• Perform other duties as required.
