Job summary

Impulse Plus Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales & Merchandising Representative to manage an established territory in Joplin, Missouri and the surrounding area.

This field-based role rewards self-motivation and relationship-building. You will visit existing customers, take orders, merchandise in stores, and develop new business while traveling throughout the territory; a valid driver's license is required. Independent work style and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience preferred; candidates with strong retail or merchandising background considered.
• Experience in route-service, convenience-store or customer-service roles is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the territory.
• Strong communication, self-motivation and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Visiting existing customers on an assigned schedule.
• Taking orders and introducing new products.
• Building displays and merchandising products in stores.
• Developing strong relationships with store owners and managers.
• Identifying opportunities to increase customer sales.
• Calling on new businesses and growing the territory.
• Keeping accurate customer, order and route information.
