Job summary

Insurcomm Restoration | Fortify Companies seeks a Business Development Manager to build a new territory from scratch in Chantilly, VA. This hunter-led field sales role creates opportunities, grows accounts, and strengthens relationships with property managers, insurers, and referral partners.

You'll partner with operations to ensure a seamless client experience from first contact to project completion, maintain a strong pipeline in HubSpot, and drive revenue in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in field sales or account management with a hunting focus.
• Experience in restoration, construction, facilities management, or insurance ecosystem is a plus.
• Excellent discovery, communication, and negotiation skills; confident presenter.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a territory plan targeting high-potential accounts.
• Prospect and generate new business through outreach, networking, and in-person meetings.
• Attend industry events and trade shows; convert activity into revenue.
• Run discovery meetings to understand client needs, timelines, and decision processes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, insurance professionals, and referral partners.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure exceptional client experience and project handoff.
• Track activity and pipeline in HubSpot (or similar CRM).
• Maintain compliance with safety, driving, and jobsite requirements.
