Job summary

Insurcomm Restoration, part of Fortify Companies, seeks a Business Development Manager to build a Maine territory from scratch. This hunter-led field role creates new opportunities, grows zero-start accounts, and deepens relationships with property managers, insurers, and referral partners.

You’ll partner with operations to ensure a seamless client experience from first contact to project handoff, attend industry events, and manage a robust pipeline in HubSpot.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in field sales or account management with a hunting focus.
• Experience in restoration, construction, facilities management, or the insurance ecosystem is a strong plus.
• Excellent discovery, communication, and negotiation skills; confident presenter.
• Consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota in a metrics-driven environment.
• Valid driver's license and comfort with local travel across the territory.
• Proficiency with HubSpot or a comparable CRM.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a territory growth plan targeting high-potential accounts.
• Prospect and generate new business through outreach, networking, and in-person meetings.
• Organize and attend industry events and trade shows, converting activity into revenue.
• Run thorough discovery meetings to understand client needs, timelines, and decision processes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with property managers, insurance professionals, and referral partners.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure exceptional client experience and project handoff.
• Track activity and pipeline in HubSpot (or similar CRM).
• Comply with all safety, driving, and jobsite requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team and business.
