Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Government Account Representative (GAR) to penetrate assigned accounts, build relationships, and drive profitable revenue growth in your territory.

You will collaborate with established teams and contract owners to meet sales targets and manage multiple accounts. You will create territory plans, review Grainger value propositions, and maintain account records in Salesforce, while traveling 4–6 calls daily to government, higher education, and public sector

Qualifications

• Sales, customer service, relationship building experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an understanding of government contracts.
• Prepare Grainger Value Proposition for each account.
• Create a territory plan optimizing call routes and time in the field.
• Maintain account and customer contacts in Grainger's CRM (Salesforce).
• Grow sales with each account across assigned geography.
