Job summary

Global Compression Services (GCS) is expanding its Dallas/Fort Worth area field sales presence with a territory-based role focused on growing aftermarket parts, service, and overhaul revenue. You will develop face-to-face relationships with operator and midstream personnel and drive revenue targets across your assigned field territory.

Success depends on visible, trusted field presence, strong knowledge of gas compression equipment, and the ability to coordinate with service and operations

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of outside sales or field service experience in compression, rotating equipment, or oilfield services.
• Knowledge: Existing relationships within the assigned territory strongly preferred; strong knowledge of gas compression equipment, mechanical aptitude, and GCS's aftermarket parts and service offerings.
• Skills & Abilities: Self-direction and territory planning; relationship building; negotiation; effective interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence without direct authority.
• Travel: Primarily field-based — daily travel within the assigned territory, including plant sites, well pads, and compressor stations, with periodic overnight travel (up to 50-70% depending on territory size).
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow aftermarket parts, service, and overhaul sales within an assigned field territory; meet or exceed assigned revenue targets.
• Build face-to-face relationships with operator and midstream field and operations personnel.
• Identify and evaluate new account opportunities within the territory.
• Coordinate with GCS service and operations teams to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and provide territory-level forecasts.
• Negotiate solutions that work for both the customer and GCS.
• Represent GCS at local industry functions and association events within the territory.
