Job summary

Philip Morris International U.S. is offering an Undergraduate Intern – Field Sales Summer 2027. The 10-week program provides hands-on experience in field sales, analytics, and business development within PMI U.S.’s Commercial organization.

Interns work with sales leaders to translate strategic plans into marketplace results and build retailer relationships. You will spend time in the field, analyze market trends, and contribute to projects supporting territory growth and consumer engagement,

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel locally within the assigned territory and authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ride-alongs with Territory Sales Managers to observe retail execution and customer engagement.
• Analyze sales, market, and territory data to identify business opportunities and trends.
• Support territory performance reviews and develop recommendations to improve results.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Consumer Experience, and Business Development teams.
• Conduct competitive and market research.
• Assist with retail activation and merchandising initiatives.
• Support projects focused on improving commercial effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Present project findings and recommendations to business leaders at the internship conclusion.
