Job summary

Milacron is seeking a Field Sales Representative in Chicago, IL to aggressively pursue new business within a defined territory and drive revenue growth. This field-based role requires 50–75% travel and residence in Illinois, with a focus on machine sales and related aftermarket opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess a hunter mentality, robust prospecting skills, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships across the plastics processing industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4–5 years of relevant experience in technical sales.
• 5+ years of outside B2B field sales in technical/industrial markets.
• Experience in the plastics injection molding/extrusion industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively hunt for new logos and greenfield opportunities.
• Maintain territory plans and forecast effectively.
• Lead value-based sales conversations and close deals.
• Track opportunities and activity in the CRM.
