Job summary

Flow Control Group is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative in the Columbia, MD area. You will nurture relationships with existing customers and identify new opportunities, delivering product knowledge and solutions while following up on leads.

You will present our products, provide quotes, and maintain pricing and records, aiming to balance excellent service with competitive pricing. A professional, team-oriented culture supports ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn; self-motivated; thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree a plus.
• Ability to prospect new accounts and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling appointments and meeting with existing customers to review products and identify opportunities.
• Provide sales quotes to customers and maintain quote follow-up.
• Conduct sales presentations and schedule product seminars.
• Offer competitive pricing while ensuring strong customer service.
• Update customers on product releases, modifications and changes.
• Attend training, conferences and trade shows; represent the company professionally.
• Maintain accurate pricing and sales records; adhere to policies and procedures.
