Responsibilities

As a Field Sales Executive for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, you will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth within an established account base of CPA firms. You will report to the Divisional Manager, Field Sales. Specific responsibilities include:

  1. Learning the full line of Tax & Accounting products, including features, benefits, pricing, value proposition, and competitive positioning through training and self-study.
  2. Implementing the sales process for Tax & Accounting products, meeting sales quotas.
  3. Managing an assigned account list to support a healthy sales pipeline, researching contacts, building calling lists, making calls, and maintaining CRM data.
  4. Promoting new account development, conducting prospecting calls, participating in industry events, and delivering presentations.
  5. Growing existing customer business by maintaining client relationships and understanding their needs.
  6. Contributing to new product development and issue resolution by identifying gaps and working with Product Managers.
  7. Increasing market share within the territory by identifying opportunities and engaging at the management level.
  8. Managing time and resources effectively to meet sales goals, scheduling activities logically.
  9. Collaborating with colleagues on strategies and marketing.
  10. Addressing account conflicts with other sales personnel and managers.
  11. Developing an annual business plan, maintaining pipeline accuracy, and participating in regular reporting.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or related field; or 6+ years of software/SaaS field sales experience without a degree.

Experience: At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, including software/SaaS, developing prospect lists, meeting/exceeding sales quotas, using CRM tools, and making in-person presentations.

Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in consultative sales, working independently, navigating a matrix organization, and formal sales training. Prior awards and flexible scheduling are a plus.

Travel

Up to 30% annually for client visits, events, and trade shows.

Compensation

Target salary range varies by location, e.g., CA, CT, NY: $95,560 - $133,750.
