Responsibilities

As a Field Sales Executive for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, your primary responsibility is driving profitable sales growth within an established account base of CPA firms. You will report to the Divisional Manager, Field Sales. Your specific responsibilities include:

  • Learning the full line of Tax & Accounting products, including features, benefits, pricing, value proposition, and competitive positioning, through training programs and self-study.
  • Implementing the sales process for Tax & Accounting products, meeting sales quotas, and staying informed of sales procedures.
  • Managing assigned accounts to support a healthy sales pipeline, including researching contacts, building call lists, making calls, and maintaining CRM data.
  • Promoting new account development, conducting prospecting calls, participating in industry events, and delivering presentations to generate interest.
  • Growing existing customer business by understanding client needs and conveying the value of WK solutions.
  • Contributing to product development by identifying gaps and working with Product Managers.
  • Increasing TAA market share by identifying opportunities and engaging with clients at management and executive levels.
  • Planning and scheduling sales activities efficiently, collaborating with colleagues, and addressing account conflicts.
  • Developing an annual business plan, maintaining accurate pipeline forecasts, and participating in regular sales meetings.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or related field; or 6+ years of relevant software/SaaS sales experience without a degree.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience with software, SaaS, or content solutions, including developing prospect lists, exceeding sales quotas, and using CRM tools like Salesforce.

Skills & Certifications: Proficiency in consultative sales, working independently, collaborating across channels, and formal sales training (e.g., Challenger Sales, Miller Heiman). Prior awards and flexible scheduling are a plus.

Travel

Up to 30% annually for client visits, events, and trade shows.

Compensation

Target salary range varies by location, e.g., CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $95,560 - $133,750.
