Job summary

Meenan is seeking a Sales Account Executive to join its outside field sales team. You will operate in a defined territory, drive new residential and small commercial energy customers, and use Salesforce CRM to manage opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus.
• Field work and travel within the territory required.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to quickly develop rapport and establish credibility.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets by generating lead opportunities and signing up new customers.
• Identify and acquire new energy customers in the residential and small commercial operations market space.
• Use Salesforce CRM to manage the business.
• Track the real estate market to identify recent home sales to target new customers.
• Use effective networking through groups and associations as well as customer referrals to generate additional sales leads.
• Canvass assigned territories through activity in the field to generate leads and identify potential new customers.
• Follow up on company-generated sales leads.
• Participate in trade shows and community events to generate sales leads.
• Work closely with delivery and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Adapt previous sales experience and learn new skills to succeed in a high transaction environment.
