Job summary

Strickland Supplies is seeking an experienced Outside Sales & Estimating Manager to support the Northeast Florida construction market. The role involves field visits to contractors and jobsites, identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and preparing estimates to win profitable work.

You will be in the field, building relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, project managers, estimators and superintendents, and coordinating awarded projects with operations.

Qualifications

• Field-based sales to contractors
• Ability to identify opportunities and develop solutions
• Experience estimating scaffolding/shoring projects would help

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, project managers, estimators and superintendents in NE Florida
• Visit customers and active sites regularly
• Identify new projects and sales opportunities on-site
• Prepare estimates and proposals for scaffolding, shoring and access projects
• Follow up on quotes and move opportunities toward award
• Grow existing accounts and develop new ones
• Coordinate projects with operations, yard and field teams
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and track opportunities
• Understand project economics and maintain gross margins
• Be a trusted resource to customers throughout the project lifecycle
