Job summary

Pattons in Huntsville, AL seeks a Compressed Air Systems Specialist to drive sales of industrial air systems and aftermarkets. You will act as a subject matter expert, develop sales plans, qualify needs, and present quotes and service contracts to customers.

You will travel locally to sites, build relationships, negotiate terms, and record activities in the CRM while expanding presence in the manufacturing sector. A degree plus 2+ years B2B sales is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or other relevant field.
• 2+ years' B2B sales experience in the industrial / capital equipment sector.
• Valid Driver's License and clear motor vehicle record.
• Proven ability to generate leads, convert leads to sales opportunities, and achieve sales targets.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert on technical information for sales of compressed air systems, accessories, parts, and service
• Generate leads and develop detailed sales plans to penetrate accounts and achieve sales goals
• Travel to customer sites within a designated territory to demonstrate and explain products and services, assess needs, and solicit orders
• Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and service contracts to potential and existing customers
• Review detailed design drawings, specifications, or lists related to compressed air system installations
• Negotiate prices and terms of equipment sales and aftermarket service agreements
• Record prospecting activity in CRM system
• Increase organizational visibility within the industrial/manufacturing sectors through networking
• Other tasks as needed or assigned
