TIC - The Industrial Company in the Power District seeks a Safety Specialist II to support the Site Specific Safety Plan in the field and report to the Project Safety Manager. You will help apply safety manuals, client expectations, and safety standards while ensuring work is performed safely.

You will verify adherence, assist with corrective actions, and provide resources to maintain safe operations across multiple locations. Travel and field collaboration with operations are required.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30, 500 and 510 certifications.
• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of construction safety and current OSHA requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willing to travel/relocate.
• Ability to access all points of a construction site.

Responsabilités

• Assist in development and communication of the Site Specific Safety Plan.
• Collaborate with craft in the field to support safety program buy-in.
• Exercise Stop Work Responsibility to enforce policies and plans.
• Plan and problem-solve with operations using leading indicators.
• Support safety training on policies, OSHA/MSHA, NCCER, and client requirements.
• Maintain project files in OSHA/MSHA compliance and accident records.
• Assist with first aid and relationships with EMS/clinics.
• Contribute to incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Review work plans and packs prior to start of work.
